This policy explains how İ-Klinik Global Group ("İ-Klinik", "we") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use this website or contact us about treatment. We process your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 for patients in the United Kingdom, and Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK) for patients in Türkiye.
1. Who we are
İ-Klinik Global Group operates dental clinics in Türkiye (İstanbul Marina, Ankara, Gaziantep, Malatya, Datça and Iğdır) and patient consultation services in London and Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. For any privacy question, contact us at global@i-klinik.com.
2. What data we collect
- Contact details you submit through our consultation forms: name, email address, phone number, city.
- Medical information you choose to share with us: photos, X-rays and case descriptions, used solely to prepare your treatment plan.
- Technical data strictly necessary to operate the website. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
3. Why we process it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a treatment proposal (contract preparation, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; health data with your explicit consent, Art. 9(2)(a)).
- To organise your consultation appointments and, where applicable, your travel, accommodation and clinical appointments in İstanbul.
- To meet our legal and clinical record-keeping obligations under Turkish healthcare law.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiry data is retained for a maximum of 24 months if you do not become a patient. Clinical records of patients are retained for the period required by Turkish healthcare legislation.
5. Sharing
We never sell your data and never share medical information with third parties for marketing. Data is shared only with processors necessary to deliver our service (e.g. our form-handling provider and, if you book treatment, the partner hotel and transfer provider, limited to your name and travel dates), each bound by data processing agreements.
6. International transfers
When you contact us from the UK or EU, your data is transferred to our clinics in Türkiye to prepare your treatment plan. These transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and your explicit consent for health data.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, and you may withdraw consent at any time by writing to global@i-klinik.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority: the ICO in the United Kingdom (ico.org.uk) or KVKK in Türkiye (kvkk.gov.tr).
